Guidelines
- Please arrive at the studio five(5)
minutes before your class begins.
- You must wear the correct dance
attire to class.
- No gum, food,drinks or candy in
class.
- No Cell Phones during Class
- Students must wait in the office for
their ride. This is for your child's
safety.
- No loud talking or playing in the
office or dressing room before class.
- We are not responsible for lost
articles.
- The telephone is for calling parents
and emergencies. The telephone is
not for personal calls.
- Baby Ballet: Pink leotard with the skirt
attached, white socks, and pink ballet shoes.
- Ballet/Pointe: Black leotard, pink tights, ballet
skirts, and pink ballet shoes. Hair must be
worn up. No shirts will be worn in ballet class.
- Tap: Any style and color leotard and tights.
Black tap shoes.(no ribbons on shoes)
- Jazz/Creative Dance: Any style and color
leotard and tights and black jazz shoes. Hot
pants, unitards, and biking shorts are
permissible.
- Lyrical: Any style or color leotard and tights.
Lyrical shoes. No shorts, biking pants or t-
shirts.
- Clogging: Comfortable athletic type clothes
with clogging shoes or dancing clothes with
clogging shoes. No jeans!
- Drill-Team: Jazz shoes, athletic shorts and t
shirts or you may wear your dancing clothes.
- Tumbling/Cheerleading: athletic shorts, t-
shirts, and tennis shoes.
Recitals
We have a recital every year. The
recitals are held at the Nederland High
School Performing Arts Center. One
year is a "Full Costume" recital and the
next year is an "Open House" recital.
2008-2009 will be a "Full Costume"
recital. Celebrating "20" years.
Students are not required to be in the
recital.
Holidays
We observe N.I.S.D. School
holidays(except teacher workdays). The
schedule is subject to change. During
the holiday months, tuition will be the
same. Some months will have three
weeks and some will have five;
therefore, the tuition averages out. We
do not prorate for absences.
Parents week
Parent's week is a week in the Fall where
parents and grandparents are invited into
the child's class to watch their child dance.
Dance School information
During the school year, newsletters and notes will
be sent home with your child. ATTENDANCE IS
VERY IMPORTANT!
Tuition information
- $ 20.00 Add on Fee per month.
- A Registration Fee is due when students
register. The Registration fee is $60.00
before May 29th. After May 29th, the
Registration Fee is $80.00. No Refunds
for Registration Fee.
- Tuition is $20.00 per month for second
family member for one(1) class. Competition
Team, Tumbling and Cheerleading classes
are charged as a $20.00 per month add on
fee.
- Tuition payments are due by the 5th of
the month. Any payments that are received
after the 5th of the month will have a late
fee of $10.00. If your payment is not
received by the 10th of the month, the late
fee will become $15.00. If the 5th falls on a
holiday or a weekend, you are still required
to pay by the 5th of each month.
- returned checks fee is $25.00.
- Tuition is the same regardless if your child is
absent. No refunds or credits will be given
for classes missed. We do not prorate for
absences.
- If a child wishes to discontinue class, the
office must be notified so the tuition can be
changed to avoid further billing. Office hours
are Monday through Thursday 2:00 until 8:
00 P.M.
Classes begin September 2nd. Your
dance schedule along with your
September tuition will be mailed. We
WILL prorate June tuition.
